my day ended at 6pm today but not on a high note.

But i felt really good after dinner with my parents. was talking non-stop.

maybe that's coz i rarely had time to eat with them. the most twice a week?

well. good or bad.

told them my results today. surprisingly they were quite satisfied.

what was even more surprising is..

my mum asked: so u didn't fail any subject?

i replied: no..

then we continued digging into our desserts.

maybe the whole day i was bogged down by it. somehow.

a little disappointed this sem.

i really understood the content of the subjects. much more than last sem.

but the results weren't any better.

it's just the feeling that you really did put alot of effort to understand the concepts and all and pay attention in class but when there's not much diff. that feeling kinda sucks.

but i am kind of positive.

at least i didn't feel insecure wrt the content of my courses. coz they are useful for future courses.

at least i really did get interested in finance this time. thgh the grades looks cui-ed.

at least sports bash was successful and a good learning point for me. my effort and time spent was worth it.

at least i felt our girls team are more bonded this time.

at least i can work harder next sem!

Into day 3 of my internship..
there are still countless days to go. till august.

And i am already missing school and holidays. *boohoo* )':
i guess now i understand why most working adults say they prefer schooling life.
it's more fun, more freedom. u get to give urself your OWN breaks.
but at work, you are stucked to the desk most of the time.

but still it's not so bad if u have something to work on. coz that's when time flies.
not sure if it's a bane or boon that i am surrounded by good food.
my body tells me it's time to workout :P
wish i weren't that tired thgh.
maybe i am still feeling the post effect of bash, camps and all.
shld have gotten a proper rest before i start my internship.

anyhow, hope at least this internship will give me a better idea of what kind of jobs i like.
the people here are nice at least. (:

time to start thinking what shall i do after internship...

My SLS camp!

This is Peiren (know her since sec sch days) and suaybob, my freshie in my og (dun he look like The Count?.. hehehe) Both from Badminton.

tonight will be the 1st night i can get real proper sleep after my last paper.

after my finance paper last saturday (knowing that i only had 4 hrs of sleep the night before muggin finance),i stayed up late to do up stuff for next day's sports bash rehearsal.

and i barely slept for 2 hrs.

managed to regain some sleep on sunday but ended up sleeping for less than 4 hrs on mon.

though that was because i went ktv with dewei, ah choo and 'xiao qing' aka clar.. heee (":

and i actually fell asleep on the ktv couch at some time around 1230 am while dewei they all continued singing.. i was that tired.

but nonetheless i am really really really happie that the show went on quite well except for some little flaws here n there but overall it was a Success!! the turnout was pretty good too! surprisingly..

but one regret is i din get to take many pics.. haiz )':

coz i was pretty busy that whole night until the show ended. but this show couldn't have carried on with the help pf my programs team: wensi, jerena (her phone bills mus have peaked this month), Aries and erm.. don?. hah. also mr fishy and ah-wu with his cranky ideas. they've been really encouraging all this while. not forgetting my cast of the show, prof low, prof koh, prof ang, roy, fred, andrew, the SSu peeps, kianfong, my models, and my emcees, terence and alex. really thankful that they were so cooperative and made the rehearsals less tiring.

after the show ended, i felt so tired that i actually felt like crying.

like you know that feeling like you finally did it. didn't regret taking up this position of being the show director. haven't tried organising a bash before. and indeed it turned out to be something i will never forget. know myself a little more and that i can actually do more than what i think i could. there were many hiccups along the way, but things do get straightened out somehow if you would jus see it through.

But my sleep-less nights din end on tues! coz i had to go for Sports Leaders Summit on wed!

yesh i was pretty zonked out but well i've got to keep my promise..

but the camp was damn fun!! really really enjoyable. got to meet people from other sports. know their CCAs and we shared many stuff happening within our own CCAs. it was interesting to hear wad others have in mind too. and we had really really good food. lots and lots. so much so that i am really feeling sluggish and oily now after all the suppers.

time to workout tomorrow.. hehee..

ok. my bro was eating this vanilla waffle thingy which i wanted to try.

so i walked towards him and asked 'does it taste good?'

At the same time, i was hoping he would offered me like a small piece.

but he didn't get my hint hint*.

so i just stood there. for 15 secs. waiting. watching him eat. hoping he will get my hint.

then finally he looked at me.

i was like ' can i have that small piece of waffle?'

And he burst out laughing.

ok. it may be funny.

but that was 1230am. kind of a wrong timing to get high then.

but well.. simple joys of making someone laugh.

Yesterday i was watching this 9pm channel 8 drama serial which is still showing.

There was this particular scene when the husband confronts his wife if she had extra-marital r/s with his best friend. The wife didn't. But the husband was being overly-suspicious which may be aggravated by his psychological illness- like overly possession of some sort..

There was this particular line in the scene where he rebutted his wife's stand of why there's no trust between them since they are husband and wife.

He said " 如果两个人要信任对方, 他们应该坦白." Meaning they should be open about the things they do.

That got me thinking.

really..? hmmm..but how 坦白should one be?
does it mean even when 2 person are together, they can have no secrets between them?
but from another viewpoint is why cannot be 坦白 when you have nothing to hide?

The wife has a point though. When 2 people are together, there should be trust between them such that they still have space for their own privacy. Like you can't possibly inform the other person your every move and action. you can but that's quite sad lo. a r/s with no trust.

I feel sometimes trust is built up slowly when 2 people are 坦白with each other right from the beginning. then it will reach to this ultimate level when there's mutual trust and understanding between 2 people and there's no need to talk about be 坦白 . Is a solution to my circle of thoughts? (:

and i believe it applies to everyone too! not jus girls only (:

well.. i am sure no matter how long u have been with that person, you will sometimes doubt them. don't deny you don't. coz personally i don't believe there's such thing as complete trust, same goes for there's no one in this world who is perfect. sounds pessimist but erm.. reality is always hard to bite.

Don't deny your doubts. let it come. but be rational. don't get too overwhelmed by it.
Look back and think.
i always believe in ' What you believe, you will attract'.
The more you believe something is going to happen, somehow it will happen.
Blame it on fate. Blame it on the other person.
But have you thought maybe you were the one who started it?
Have confidence in yourself! (:

was like browsing through my bloggies' blog,
then realised i got tagged by my da jie to do this tagging game. *tongue twisted*
so it goes like this..

The Tagging Game

6 weird things about me

I. i have a fetish to clean people's ear wax. eeeeewwwww... but i like leh! hahhaa..

II. i do all the weirdest things like duh! eg. eat 80 seeds of durian at one go, blow 90 balloons
at one go (prob can hire me if u need some help with ur party's deco..hehe), stood outside
someone's hse at midnight for close to an hr just to say' Happie 1st year!' (okae.. can't
consider this weird rite.. :P ) ...etc.

III. i love touching pillows or anything with those frills. coz my fingers will naturally keep
'kneading it'. a habit that i have since young.

IV. Since primary 5, i MUST sleep with a bolster/pillow/blanket covering one side of my neck,
so I'll end up sleeping on my left or right. the reason is.... coz when i was in pri 5, there
was this rumor about this vampire lady on the loose near my estate and she goes around
sucking up children's blood to stay young. And i was afraid this lady would somehow
appear in my room at night to suck my blood so i had to used the bolster to cover my
neck.

V. my friends find it weird that I can laugh non-stop at the slightest thing.

VI. they find it even weirder that despite all the laughing.. i have yet to gain any abs )':

okae! dun worry i am not a weirdo k! thought it will be hard for me to come up with these 6 weird things but i have more in my head now.. but i shall keep that as a secret first *sheesh*

Quite interesting.
And yesterday was the last episode. so glad i managed to catch it.
