Race: 800m
When we thought nothing is impossible..
we made impossible nothing.
Will always remember that very moment..
when i broke down after the race.
the emotions.. the adrenaline just slammed right hard on me.
And when i turned to look at my other teammates in the boat,
they broke down too.
the girls just hug together and cried.
Our First finals!!
it doesn't guarantee us a medal but it was still a victory to us.
we won.
we won ourselves.
we won others flat down.
This is team SMU.
"team SMU is in the lead... team SMU is still leading.."
the crowds roared..disbelief but mostly in awe and amazement..
all stood up.. hoping to catch a glimpse of our guys in the PM cup race (1km)
How could team SMU lead favourites like NTU & NUS?
totally caught the crowd off guard.
though we din win the medal but to lead for the first 500m..
we are so proud of the guys!! :D
even as i write..
that 2 days are still fresh in my mind..
the heat..
the water..
the sweat..
the tears..
the laughters..
i love my team!!!
