feeling quite bored now.. [working in the gym] coz stoopid me .. never bring any books to read and my lappie *boohoo ): lucky crystal (my gym mate) is bored with her lappie. hee (:
had my first pre-orientation faci workshop for the last 3 days.. still have one more to go.. actually i din noe that there's so much to being a faci.. i thot initially.. as long as u are enthu.. sporting.. can get damn high at everything.. that will make u a good faci.. after the workshop i realised these are only like attributes.. there are much more skills to pick up in order for u to "maximise the utility" of ur enthusiasm.. sporti-ness.. and what have u. i din realised that planning and simulation were so important before playing a game.. eh no.. i mean successfully completing an activity... hahaha that's what the instructor emphasize.. activity not games.. coz activity is like something that u can learnt from.. games are jus for fun (: I mean usually when a game oh well activity is presented to u.. u jus wan to complete it.. who cares about simulating ur plans and wadsoever. but actually it's darn important can.. it reduces the no. of mistakes that you might commit during the execution of the games. but i have really picked up super alot for the past 3 days..
And yesterday was damn high. super high can.. coz it was the first time my whole team = everyone in the workshop..20 peeps..successfully completed an activity well within our target time and even surpassed our expectations.. we actually aimed to finish the electric fence within 6.5 mins but we did it within 4.08 mins.. transporting every single one of us over a string tied to 2 sides of a tree without touching the string and all.. there were alot of encouragment coming from everyone of us.. of coz there were gan jeong spiders.. people who got injured.. but all of us had this burning desire.. a common goal we all shared. which is to complete an activity successfully.. we wanted it so badly.. i can certainly apply the saying from alchemist : when u wan something really badly.. the whole world will conspire to get it for u. how true is that (:
but to those peeps in the workshop who may pop by blog.. it was really great thrashing out that 3 days with u guys.. initially i thot it was goin to be super boring.. but look at how fast we all clicked!! It's like bonding through adversity.. hahah i mean it wasn't that tough.. but we had an evil instructor.. oops :P i mean evil in the sense that he comes up with really evil rules for activity can..
when i knew i was in the same group as clem, tim, lionel, lorenzo.. that bunch of AC guys who alwys sticked togther in school.. i thot about how am i goin to survive the workshop with them coz they all look kind of dao in a way.. hahaha.. but kaoz.. after the 3 days.. my impression totally changed.. they are quite fun peeps to joke around.. i mean u have to hear the kind of jokes they say.. haha and geraldine.. tim's gf.. turns out to be a really nice girl .. quite nice to tok to (: very caring aso... initially i thot she's like u noe. those loud girls.. but hahaha.. in some way she's kind of similar to me.. then there's the stoopid yiwei.. lionel's "best fren" hahaa.. the handstand guy.. i think him n lionel 's like the best combination ard.. hahaha and aye.. not everything is weiling's fault can :P of coz at least there are the nicey guys changqi"CQ" benMui aaron steve.. not forgetting the girls!!! shiwei jeannie debra jazreel megan " my QC buddy" whom i thot had a funny slang when she speaks geri michelle jazreel wanzhen xianying though when the girls come together.. we are like wet markets.. but.. that's us.. and yesh jeannie.. the girls are strong enuff to lift the guys.. woohooo.. and pls we are not feminist (: it's jus that girls have strength too.. thgh they almost ask me to do a handstand coz i am from dragonboat?!! luckily i never had to do that.. phew.. i totally enjoyed my 2 days with them.. crapping.. arguing our ideas.. learning together.. hope to see all of them again in the next workshop!! love giving surprises to him.. thgh i think i am quite lousy at giving surprises.. not that i am not creative... in fact i think i am quite original.. jus that i cannot keep surprises myself.. alwys have the urge to drop hints. *toot :P but i am glad he loves the latest one (X
damn funny. yesterday we had a small debate on the day we actually started... all the while i thot it was 3rd of April which i thot was a wed. coz initially we wanted to celebrate our first month on 3rd may then we realised it was on 26th april and we did celebrated it on that day. but it din occurred to me that 26th march was the first day we started and that was a sun.. and i kept thinking that it was a wed and 3rd of April.. donch noe why aso *bleah so blur .. got mixed up even for this kind of dates. bish...
gosh he will be away from next week onwards ): will miss Mr Fisherman.
