actually i tried posting a post ( sounds wrong haha..) on wed..
but kena rejected by the system.. think they were tryin to fix sth..
waste my effort. hah.
as u can see.. i have been real busy this whole week.
had double readings to catch up for psych, macro, plural persp ( coz was involved in grand opening last week)
plus i have 2 quizzes each week.
and my ltb proposal presentation was on fri which was yesterday.
and well sad to say... i fell sick on wed.. again.
was okae in the mornin thgh. met shah at Mr tea.
thgh he commented that my eyes are "puff-ier".. urghh..
lack of sleep. that's why i need the caffeine frm teh tarik in the morning.
thgh the queue was super long n i knew i was goin to be like 10 mins late..
but i really need the tea!! hah.
in the afternoon during lunch.
that's when i felt the impact frm all "sleepless"nights ( been sleeping at ard 2 plus for the past few days. urghh doing readings.)
felt feverish. hot n cold. no appetite. stomach feels weird.
i knew it was coming.
popped panadols again. thgh i jus did that last week.
seriously. i have only ate panadols for like only four times in my entire life. until now..
was feeling a little apprehensive when i was taking it. coz i din wanna rely on it too much.
guess i have no choice.
had sudden cravings for vanilla ice cream frm Mr Tea..
dun noe why. oh. that's my fav flavour. thot it's the way to gauge the quality of the ice cream sold X)
althgh alvin n cip were pretty concern with me eating the ice cream since i was sick.
but i thot i felt better. anyway. stubborn. i went ahead.
felt much better after eating it la. serious.
then during the ltb meeting later. took power nap.
felt even better. had chips. was super hungry.
so my msn nic was [ feverish. vanilla ice cream + chips = medicine] hahaha
thgh my frens were suggesting that i shld not go for dragonboat trg (gym).
but . stubborn. coz i really felt better. high in fact.
i need to sweat it out.
glad i went for the trg X) had a lot of fun laughing with peiling n peifen doing all the weights.
in fact most of us even the guys were in joking mood.
we went a little overboard during warm down.
then ah zhui had to show wad's a captain got to do.
bleah. sorrie zhui :P. we will try to joke at a suitable time... hopefully X)
but i really felt the impact after gym trg.
the fever jus struck me.
luckily wen fang drove me home. can't imagine a sickly me taking public transport home.
thankie fang fang!!
she stayed for dinner thgh she wasn't intending too.
but i guess she discovered the crazy side of the whole team. hahhaha. this laughing bunch of us.
thurs was a super big rushie day for me..
was thankful i felt better after a good nite sleep.
went to meet my LTB org in the afternoon. at 1pm at katong.
then had tuition at 4pm at tampines.
then it was back to school again at 7pm for presentation rehearsal on fri. lasted till 9 pm.
it was really a eat-bread day!!
din have time for anything else but bread.
bread for breakfast. bread for lunch. bread for dinner.
the bread i had for dinner was even given to me by my tuition kid's mum.
she knew i was busy. thot i wun have time for dinner. then she quickly handed me a bread b4 i left. so nice rite. awwww.. X)
but i love my ltb grp!! :) thgh i wonder they enjoyed my laughters not!!
they alwys make me laugh! Hahahaa.
priyanka jus said my name sounds like a fish. i was like wad!! Hehe.
but we had a lot of fun thinking of funny ideas for our ltb..
and it was really funny!!!
ohh..i mus mention abt the trip to meet my ltb org. COH
hda six mosquito bites jus frm seating at the bench there discussing our proj.
was kinda fearful of the people there. din noe how to tok to them.
rem clar saying one of them have a tendency to like girls. so cannot get to close to him.
it kinda freaked me n yvonne out initially. well not exactly freaked.. but we kinda maintain a distance frm him..
but then i realised.. actually it jus take a little bit more time to get used to noeing these people.
some words frm the teacher in the class struck me deeply.
"sometimes it's not that this people are disabled. it is us that make them disabled. we assumed that they can't do things that normal people do. infact sometimes they have better communication skills than us. they are much more friendlier and ethusiastic in getting to noe new people"
and how true can that be..
when we first saw them. they already started approaching us. smiling. shaking our hands. get to noe our names. ask what we are doin.
i bet these are initiatives that even normal people like us can't do.
which is quite sad. makes me even more determined to see thrg the proj.
makes me wanna make them happie. create this lasting impact on them.
i noe my team can do it. no matter whether it's big scale or not.
once we set our mind on it, we can do it X)
Glad out LTb presentation went thrg smoothly..
it was kinda presented in a skit form.. like a flashback.
ended with party poppers ( was my idea Hahahhaaha.. thot it will be damn fun)
i even bought those that can be twisted. shiok!!
coz i was the girl who's a volunteer wannabe.. sort of like the main character.
but it suit me totally. not that i am really a volunteer wannabe.
but it was that cheerfulness.
my ltb mates even warned me b4 the presentation to control my laughter XP
glad it's over!!
was kinda surprised when my prof came up to me and said i can really act.
sort of like liven up the mood. i did? Hahhaa. thot it was jus normal.
but anyway alwys feels good to be complimented.
mayb i should consider joining the super idol thingy hahaha.
had dinner with my teammates after that.
felt really good that the presentation was over.
well i noe the real work hasn't really begin but it will only start after CNY.
heck le. haha.
but urgh.. miss my 1st rowing session of the year! due to the ltb presentation.
miss the sun. miss the tanning. miss rowing.
glad we have new peeps joining us thgh.
jason. n 2 new girls. eileen n this other girl which i din get the name.
peiling left after the dinner at suntec. left me as the only girl.
kena suan n bombarded by the guys. addie bert DK wilson BK jason n jeremy.
kaoz. easy target.
At Ben n Jerry's i realised one thing.
guys are be real KPOs n gossipy.
they can really bitched!!
luckily i had to rush off to meet my dad n bros at chinatown.
been busy with stuff in sch.. din spend time with them. urgh.
but chinatown was super crowded.
but we managed to buy more than 1.5 kg of taiwan muah chee and jelly in many flavours.
choco mango green tea durian yam lychee sesame etc.
mouth watering rite. hehe.
but i was super tired. shag.
my right eye was twitching since dinner.
better get some sleep b4 CNY.
oh was having this "interesting" conversation with the db guys at ben n jerry.
coz we were toking abt valentines' day and wad to do.
among them only DK is attached. the rest of us are not. so u noe who's asking XP
then i jus said :" aiyah dun need anything special. If u are really that sincere, everyday's a valentines'day wad." hahaha.
